Do you have any outstanding debt?

If you have unpaid tax and you still have time to make the payment within the deadline, please see Payments to the Danish Tax Agency at our website for guidance.

If, however, you failed to meet the payment deadline, we will transfer your debt for collection to the Danish Debt Collection Agency (Gældsstyrelsen). The Debt Collection Agency is responsible for collecting any debt owed to public authorities. You can call the Debt Collection Agency on (+45) 70 15 73 04 or read more at www.gaeldst.dk/english.

If, for example, you have received a decision or a reminder from the Debt Collection Agency (Gældsstyrelsen) with a statement of your debt, the date listed in the statement does not always match the date shown in the overview. You can find an overview of the different types of debt where the registered date may be different from the date on your statement at www.gaeldst.dl/forstå-din-gæld (please note that the link is in Danish).
