Enter your deduction for transport between home and work

If you are entitled to a deduction for transport between home and work, and if you, like a lot of people, worked more days from home than you normally do, your deduction will be reduced in 2021.

You are only entitled to the deduction on the days you actually travel to and from work.

This applies to all types of paid work that you pay labour market contributions (AM-bidrag) on, including student jobs, paid internships and salary subsidy jobs (løntilskud).

Remember that you have to enter your deduction in your tax assessment notice. See below how you do this.

  • Are you entitled to a deduction?

You are entitled to a deduction if you travel more than 24 km to and from work (12 km each way). All means of transport are included, for example, cars, trains or bikes.
