Deduction for transport between home and work
You can claim a deduction for transport if you have more than 12 kilometres to work (a total of 24 kilometres to and from work a day). This includes all types of paid work on which you pay labour market contribution (am-bidrag), including student jobs and paid internships.
You are only entitled to a deduction for the days you actually travel to and from work. As a result, you can't claim a deduction for the days you work from home, are sick or on holiday.
All means of transport, including car, train, bus or bike, are covered.
