If, for example, you work as a temp and travel to many different workplaces, you can't use our guide to calculate your deduction for transport between home and work.
In this case, you have to keep track of your transport manually and save the information for tax assessment notice.
We recommend that you keep track of your transpoert (travel log) where you register your workplaces and the route you travelled.
When you have to calculate your deduction for transport between home and work, you have to do it per day. If you have travelled the same route for more days, you can calculate the total deduction for these days.
This is waht you do
Calculate the number of kilometres you have travelled per day. You do that from your home and to the first workplade, from there to the next and so on until you get back to your home. If you have travelled in between the different workplaces, you also have to include this travel
Once you know how many kilometres you have travelled per day, you can calculate your deduction here (Currently in Danish).
